Do you recognize this coach?

Off course you do! This is coach Popa back in the days. In this picture he was training in his gymnasium in Timisoara, Romania. Popa his favorite apparatus were floor and vault. Nowadays he loves to do trampoline. He competed in the National Romanian championships with his team.

After ending his gymnastics career he has been doing trampolining performances in England, Germany and Dubai. He has graduated from University Tibiscus, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Timisoara, Romania.

He started his gymnastics coaching career back in 2007 when he first worked for DOGC – Dubai Olympic Gymnastics Club.

Besides gymnastics, coach Popa loves football and he also trains for various adventure races throughout the Emirates.
